Day two of the clean out and up for grabs are 4 sets of Wrap-Ups.
I have addition, subtraction, multiplication and matchmakers (shapes). These wrap ups are not new by any standard. In fact they have been well used, but they are each a complete set in great shape with lots of use left in them and ready for a new home.

I would love an entry! We use food as math manipulatives, but I have foundthat Dad's mwasuring tape has been used a lot for all sorts of lessons!

We would love to win these!!! The best thing I have found for math facts is Times Alive! computer game. My girls love it.

We have just used anything we come across in everyday life. Most recently we were comparing $1 bills to $5 bills, quarters to pennies, etc. (This was money found in Easter eggs and going into their piggy banks)

We like the Hot Dots Flashcards and Pen System. I have used these Wrap ups in the past and would love to own them!
Speed drills with candy rewards. The reward is given for any attempt. We also keep track of their times so that they can beat their own best attempt. If they work on it each day, they always improve. Amazing results for just m&m's a day.

as far as tools go, i've heard these are the best! that is why they are on my list for the fall!!

Oh, these are lots of fun. I used them when I taught in school. I'd love to win them for my kids. Thanks for the chance to win! A great math maniupulative that we use are little treats (like m&ms). They're a great motivator :)
My Kindergartener would say that M&M's are the best thing for math but we have found anything they can do with their hands and w/o a pencil works best. I have been eyeing these but haven't gotten them yet so this would be great to win!
I loved using these when I was teaching. So far homeschooling the best math tool I have found is the counting bears. My daughter loves them.

So far, the best math tool we have is doing little things in everyday life--like counting stairs or helping with cooking. We'll get to other math tools eventually, I guess. :D

Our best find so far is flashcards from the Target dollar bin. We use them with our giant bucket of wood beads. I would love to win these because they are self-correcting and I really think that my daughter would love them. Thanks.
Our current favorite math tool is Math Ninjas, available on the iPad. But I have heard such good things about these...
i like to supplement curriculum with the math workbooks from the dollar store.

Well this is our first year homeschooling (K) so I have not encountered much. My little math whiz uses counting bears on occasion, but we also LOVE the BJU Press math. We haven't tried anything else, but we are both enjoying it.

For math we use a lot of different manipulatives, like beans. I love teaching math while we are baking and making orange juice. Plus money is great.

We love math manipulatives. We use the double die quite a bit, but my far the favorite are simple sea creature counting beads. We'd love to try out these wrap-ups though. I've been eyeing them for a year now.
