Cast: to put forth; to get rid of; to deposit; to throw off or away; to throw something.
In order to actually cast something, at some point there must be a release of the object being held.
1 Peter 5:7: Cast your cares on Him because He cares for you.
Psalm 55:22 Cast your cares on the Lord and He will sustain you; He will never let the righteous fall.
