- I can do it all.
- I shouldn't make mistakes.
- Having a clean house and healthy, home cooked meals makes me a good mom.
- People should know better.
- Life should always be comfortable and easy. (And if it's not, that must mean I'm doing something wrong.)
- Work isn't fun.
- Saying "no" is unacceptable.
- I need more stuff.
- I have to have it all together.

I am right about whatever I am talking about, and other people should acknowledge this.
I sure put up with a lot from others, but certainly I am never anything but uniformly kind and easy to get along with.
I struggle with all of those except for 2 and 5. In my head, I acknowledge that they are all lies, but I often find myself ACTING otherwise....I think one of the lies that hurts me the most tho is "my husband is beyond human perfect" because I'm always disappointed when he reveals he is human *surprise!*... or perhaps the lie is not that I think he is perfect, but rather that I think he SHOULD be...
