A new chapter

I have had so many thoughts to blog in the last few weeks but every time I've had great thoughts, I had no time and when I've had time, no inspiration.  So, here it is a new year. While I hate new years resolutions, I am so thankful for a new start right now.  2008 was really tough and I'm glad for a fresh beginning.  I have made some goals for myself that I would like to accomplish by the end of this year.  I'm not sure how this is different from a resolution except that I thought these up in October.  So, here they are:

- I want to have more scripture memorized - 24 verses, 2 a month.

- I want to get into a size medium.  I lost 40 pounds in 2007 and managed to keep it off through 2008.  I intend to finish that goal.

- I want to save enough money for Mike and I to be able to take a long weekend away together.

And then there are some dreams:

 

- I want to celebrate Christmas next year in my new HOME where it SNOWS! 

- I want to have another baby (after I reach my size medium goal of coarse).  

So, there you have it.  A new year.  A clean start.  A fresh beginning...
